No one is depend worthy except blood relations

Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.

The Harsh Reality: Trust No One (Except Blood Relations)

As I reflect on my life’s journey, there’s one lesson that stands out – a lesson I wish I had learned earlier. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but it’s essential: no one is trustworthy except blood relations.

Sounds harsh, doesn’t it? But hear me out.

In our quest for connection and belonging, we often open our hearts and minds to others. We share our deepest secrets, hopes, and dreams with friends, colleagues, and even acquaintances. But the brutal truth is that most people have their own agendas, biases, and limitations.

Only blood relations – family – will tolerate (and even expect) your quirks, flaws, and imperfections. They’ll put up with your cheesiness, nosiness, or annoying habits because, well, they’re stuck with you!

The Unspoken Rule: Conditional Acceptance

Outside of family, relationships come with conditions. People will accept you as long as:

1. You conform to their expectations.
2. You don’t rock the boat.
3. You provide value (emotional, financial, or social).

But what happens when you stop meeting these conditions? The facade crumbles, and the masks come off.

Blood Relations: Unconditional Love

Family, on the other hand, loves you unconditionally. They’ll call you out on your nonsense, but they’ll still be there for you. They’ll roll their eyes at your antics, but they’ll defend you to the death.

This isn’t to say that all family relationships are perfect. However, the bond between blood relations is uniquely resilient.

The Takeaway: Be Cautious

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not advocating for isolation or mistrust. What I am saying is:

Be cautious with whom you share your innermost thoughts and feelings.
Set boundaries and prioritize self-protection.
Nurture your relationships with family; they’re irreplaceable.

Conclusion: No Substitute for Family

In the end, no amount of external validation or acceptance can replace the unconditional love and acceptance of blood relations. While it’s essential to cultivate meaningful relationships outside of family, remember that they’ll always come with conditions.

So, cherish your family – flaws and all. They’re the only ones who’ll truly put up with you.
